PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

SATBED, Principal

“ Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all ” ~ Aristotle

I extend a warm welcome to our Sundarban Ashutosh B.Ed. College for Women, Kakdwip, South 24 Parganas. Being a premier Teacher Education Institution for women, our aim is to nurture young women to become competent, intellectually sound, and technically skilled educators for schools and Teacher Education Institutes. Currently, we are affiliated under the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU) and provide 2-year B.Ed. programme. Our focus is to work towards providing students with unmatched quality education and access to equitable learning opportunities so that they can in turn, help to build an empowered community that is sensitive towards all individuals and a just society that upholds freedom and empowerment for all.

We strive to inculcate a sense of confidence and leadership, encourage critical inquiry, develop problem-solving skills, and cultivate a value-based and compassionate attitude in our students so that they can achieve their full potential.

I also want to appreciate all the non-teaching staff who works tirelessly to maintain the smooth administration of the college. We all are an integral part of our college family and we shall work together.

I would like to conclude by saying that with the active participation in both academics and co-curricular activities of our talented students under the guidance of our capable faculty, we will continue to create empowered and empathetic women educators. We also intend to constantly improve ourselves, so that we can provide the best education in order to shape the students as holistically capable educators and serve society in the best way possible.
