Women's teachers training centers are very dearth in our State in this context the establishment of teachers training college for women has become urgently needed in the interest of furtherance of education among the women. With a motto of this advancement of qualitative improvement of teachers education among women, this institution has been setup and accorded recognition for NCTE and affiliation from the University of Calcutta from the session 2008-09.
